My Philosophy
After taking many early childhood education units, it has become
clear to me that children are inquisitive by nature and learn best when they are
in environments that promote further investigation, allow hands-on activities,
and make children feel that their ideas are important and valued. Simply put,
preschool-aged children learn best through play. I feel that the experiences
that are best received by children are developed from the children's ideas to
promote creativity and thrive in a learning environment--setting them up for
success when they enter school and ultimately, for life.
